At the Skin Clinic, we require you to have a thorough consultation with our Nurse Prescriber prior to your treatment where we will review your medical history, desired look and suitability for the treatment. On the day of the treatment, we will apply a local anaesthetic cream for 20 mins to the area to numb any sensation prior to injecting below the surface of the skin. There should be little or no pain at all however our nurse prescriber will ensure you feel comfortable throughout the treatment

There may be some mild side effects such as bruising, swelling or itching, however the procedure itself is relatively pain-free and the majority of patients find the discomfort minimal. The needle used is exceptionally fine and coupled with the experience of your practitioner there should be little or no pain at all.

You will notice the results straight away, however clients may experience some mild swelling up to 7 days following the treatment.

This varies depending on the area being treated, typically result can last between 6 and 9 months.

You will be provided with extensive aftercare information and a review session 2 weeks after your treatment. We also recommend that you do not touch your face for six hours after your treatment to avoid infection.
